Anger is a normal human emotion—but when it spirals out of control, it can become destructive and harmful to self or others. Unmanaged anger may lead to problems at school or work, conflict with peers and family, or even involvement with law enforcement.
People Inc.’s Youth & Family Service Programs offer Anger Management classes in both individual sessions and group settings. Our trained clinicians help participants identify anger triggers, uncover the emotions often hidden beneath anger, and learn healthier ways to respond.
Participants gain practical tools for managing anger, including:
Expressing and managing anger in positive ways
Recognizing personal anger triggers
Resolving conflicts at school, work, or home without stress overload
Building problem-solving, redirection, and relaxation skills
Through education, support, and practice, our anger management program helps individuals replace harmful patterns with healthier responses—leading to stronger relationships and improved well-being.
